Noises & Voices

Solitaire

This is the first track of the CD "Noises & Voices".
The sounds you can hear are clear-cut and precise. They are possible using a particular technique not so used with the didjeridoo. However, if this technique is correctly used, it allowed percussive sound similar to a real percussion.
The same technique is used in Solitaire to add beats in the "circular breathing" part.
No effects were used excepted the reverb.

Reverse

The electronic base was composed by Andrea Ferroni, the sounds used come from voices and noises as the title of title of the CD suggests. They are disposed on layer to have something like a drone with few reverse voices effects. The electronic groove is only a beat enough discreet.
The pattern played with the didje is really catchy!

Abstrait
This track was conceived as improvvisation of two didjeridoos only. Notwithstanding the sensation is to hear a complete instrumental track.
The first didjeridoo keep the percussive line, the second one plays the melodic line as a trombone.

Tribal Revolution

Tribal Revolution
"Riccio" is the composer of the rhythmical base. He used and manipulated electronic and acoustic sounds, after which the basa was played with a drum machine.
Two different didjes work on different layers. The first one create the overtone harmonic rhythmic line. The second one plays the melody like a trombone.

Electropipe

The electronic base is a drum'n bass used during rave parties. This was composed by "SuperGhio".
The didjeridoo line was improvised, after which was cut and modified with reverb and electronic effects.

Break through

Didjeridoo Solo
Estreme sperimental track. The rhytmhic base is composed by didjeridoo sounds only! The sounds and effects where played and recorded separately, after which they where elaborated with a computer. The final sounds were played like normal electronic music.
The base is composed by Fabio Santagostino.
The "normal" didje play few sound on it.

Kalimba
That's only an experiment played with a kalimba. This rhythmic instrument allow very short melody… so doing the music become really catchy.

Improvvisazione in FA
Andrea loves improvisation cause it allow to play unusual music…
In this trac the didjeridoo keep the place of a drum, the toot is the beat.
At every beat it is possible to breath in.
The sax is wisely played by Roberto Canone, musician from Turin.
